Max's Bark Park Friends

Sometimes you don't need to "say" anything....just look at all the pups having a great day at the local Bark Park!  I could sit there for hours watching all them! It was a perfect day to go hang with Max's buddies! If I ever retire, this might be where you'll find me! I love to look at all the different kinds of dogs, their behaviors and interactions! Some are real funny too - the running poodle was a hoot to watch continually try to engage other pups into running with her.  The brown and black Airedale was the gentlest pup ever and was so sweet; welcoming all to the park like the host of the party or something. Not sure what kind of pup the last pix is, but I thought he was interesting looking and was fun to watch play-just wanted to enjoy life.

Here's to having a carefree day like these guys!!!

    1. Thanks Kat...you can't tell but Max is supporting the Houston Rockets (on the bandana)...Max was just shy of being tall enough to play ball with them.

    1. Yes, it's a fairly new park and (yea!) close to the house too! Although Max would rather die than get wet ever I think...he's pretty scared of water but I'm hoping one day he'll get over that fear. My granddog on the other hand would jump into any water and boogie boards too!

  5. wow, max looks so friendly with everyone. bailey is such a loner at the dog parks. she just likes to roam on her own and sniff every square inch of the park!
btw, great shot of max by the fire hydrant.

  6. Actually Max is only social with the other pups for a minute or two then, like Bailey..back to sniffing. I think Bailey just knows she's special and wants to give the rest something pretty to look ...she's that shy, beautiful girl!! Oh, yes Max likes to "guard" the fire hydrant - like it's just his or something-he was a bit offended that big, brown and black pup used HIS hydrant! :)
