This 'N That Thursday

2 Brown Dawgs (a fantastic blog you need to visit and join if you don't know them, but I'm sure you already must!), is hosting this This 'N That Thursday Blog Hop (thanks!), so here we go...

Looking at several photos this week of other blogger buddies and the way their pups can sleep sometimes in the cutest and funniest positions and then the various other poses they've been captured doing and makes me wonder....if at the Bark Park's WE are all the topic of their conversations, at how funny the way WE sleep is and wonder what THEY find adorable or gross about us, (mere) humans? I love how on Coffee With A Canine (great blog by the way if you haven't joined already - I love it!), Marshal will ask questions like "If your dog could answer only one question in English, what would you ask him?" (Now, please don't go answering that cuz that's his question, not mine, plus I love to be surprised when reading the interviews and see how his guests answer it). But things like that always make me wonder...what do our pups think of us? So my question is if your PUP could ask YOU one question, what do you think it would be?

Today, I'm really full of it (questions that is...yes, the other too for you witty ones :)), has anyone else ever had a pinched nerve in their neck or a slipped disc? I was perfectly fine yesterday and then when I was taking a shower I got this sudden, sharp pain in my neck and wow did it hurt most of the day until my Physical Therapist buddy manipulated my head and opened up the nerve path, then I felt a lot of relief but urrr, not the best still, but WAY better! Any words of advice? Still not exactly feeling yippee great and don't  want to feel like I did before the PT buddy ever again if I can help it :)

Well, Max is looking at me in a way that suggests....WTD?! Ma...hellloooo...I do NOT see a photo of ME on here yet!!! Isn't this blog about ME? Hellloooo?!?! Remember me??? Cute guy from the Shelter?! WAKE UP Ma! Oh, Ok..got your attention now?!  (Jeezz, humans...sometimes I worry about Ma's priorities! Yes, I love you Ma, yes I care about your weird human neck issue but give the humans what they REALLY came here to see right?! Sorry, just trying to help ya out Ma...I know you get a little ADD sometimes..focus Ma, focus!).

The face of
"I'm watchin' ya Ma...now click upload....that's better....wait Ma...just ONE?!"
"I think this is my best side profile...yea, yea, Ma...show 'em this one too!"

Have a beautiful today and show 'em your best side today!!!

  3. Thanks so much for participating in TNT and for the kind words. :) Make sure to stop by and add your link. :)

A few weeks ago my hubby was doing a favor for a sick friend bringing him some wood for his wood stove/heater. Hubby did something to his back by twisting wrong and was in severe pain. He thought for sure it was a disc issue, but he went straight off to the doctor (that is how I knew it really must have hurt...he avoids the doctor). After x-rays it was only sever muscle spasms and not the disc. He got an anti-inflammatory and muscle relaxers which took care of it very quickly. You might need the dr. Hope you feel better.

Urr..back pain is the worst! I get it periodically cuz I have scoliosis, is he totally ok now? Hope so! That's pretty painful! I'm sure I'll be fine in a day or so...my Mother always said "Only the good die young"...so figure I'm good :)

I hope your neck feels better soon - ouch!

If I asked one question it would be why kibble? I'd much rather have what the humans are eating! :)

  6. Mine would ask: Is it time to eat yet?!

Sorry about your neck. Hope it improves quickly. I've got a lower back issue that flares up from time to time. Very painful. It's as 2browndogs hubby does....anti-inflammatory and muscle relaxers.

  10. you are always beautiful, Max :o) Mom had a pinched "itchy ass-nerv" two weeks ago. She ate a full bucket of drugs from the dogtor without results... later she found a "stretching tutorial" on the internet and with this "torturing-instruction" it was better after two days :o) Get well soon, this pinched thingy is mean like a gremlin :o)

  13. If Audi could ask me anything, it would be "why aren't you feeding me?" and if Beamer were to ask me anything, it would be "where do babies come from?" Beamer's a curious pup and I'm not ready to tell him about the birds and the bees just yet :P

Pinching a neck nerve is the worst. I sometimes do it when I turn my head abruptly. Hope you're feeling better!

Max's side profile looks great and I'm loving your new banner!
