Have you ever had a dream about your pup?

I seldom dream, or at least I rarely remember dreaming (but then again I don't remember a lot!), anyway...while walking Max yesterday a random thought came to me, I guess because I had a vivid dream last night. I found it really weird that I don't believe I have ever had a dream about Max! As HUGE as little Max is in my world, I found it odd! I know Max sure does dream.. those skinny little legs get to moving and he'll sigh sometimes in his sleep.

So do any of YOU humans dream about your pups?
(Wonder what Max was thinking about in this photo?)

  1. All the time - I have the opposite in that I remember dreams and sometimes they seems more like memories then dreams. I dream of Reilly quite frequently - usually of taking a walk...Denny not so much but I have had Reilly so much longer

    1. That's so cool! I wish if I do dream, that I'd remember them more than I do! Thinking maybe me talking about it will put that in my head and maybe I will too :)

    1. I don't know why, but the more I thought about it, the stranger it seems that I don't dream about Max.

  4. I often dream about the dogs but they are always nightmares of them being stolen or something (if they did I think they would pay US the randsom, he he). Those dreams always upset me.

    1. Oh Lynne, I SURE don't want to dream a dream like that about Max! Gosh, that must be terrifying for you! I bet you go check on them right away after a dream like that!!! You know here in Houston something like that actually DID happen fairly recently?! Thankfully, the pup was returned later without harm.

  5. I don't remember most of my dreams. Sometimes when I'm having an awesome dream and I know I'm dreaming, I tell myself to remember what's happening so I can tell DK the next morning. It never pans out because I have a horrible memory as is. Once I dreamt I was running from zombies and DK found me wrapped up tightly in my blanket and shifted halfway down the bed.

Beamer has dreams. He cries and his legs twitch like he's running, so I think he also dreams of running from zombies.

Or I think he sometimes dreams of his mom because he occasionally suckles in his sleep, like he's nursing. It's cute :)

    1. Wow, I haven't ever dreamed of zombies but I did used to have a reoccuring dream that this GIANT ape was mowing his front yard where me and my family were having a picnic and he was trying to chase us all down and mow us over! That was sooo scary! Aw, I love Beamer dreaming about his Mom...that's so cute!!!

    1. Ha, makes me think of all the people that must think (or you can see it one their face that they do), I'm insane to talk about Max as if he's one of my kids. They are soooo missing out on life!!!

  7. I rarely remember my dreams either. I am sure I've dreamed of my dogs since they are such a huge part of my life.

  9. Mom says that she dreams about us sometimes but mostly she dreams about humans. I dream but don't make all those noises and movements like my big sister does...she has really vivid dreams I think!

  13. Hi max. Thanks for stopping by my blog the other day. Hmmm Mommy doesn't recall ever dreaming about us dogs. Mommy says she thinks of us dogs all day when she is awake, her brain probably just needs its rest while she is sleeping.
