Love This Quote

I love this quote by one of my favorite authors, Jonathan Carroll..."Dogs are minor angels, and I don't mean that facetiously.  They love unconditionally, forgive immediately, are the truest of friends, willing to do anything that makes us happy, etcetera.  If we attributed some of those qualities to a person we would say they are special.  If they had ALL of them, we would call them angelic.  But because it's "only" a dog we dismiss them as sweet or funny but little more.  However when you think about it, what are the things that we most like in another human being? Many times those qualities are seen in our dogs every single day--we're just so used to them that we pay no attention." - Jonathan Carroll

Jonathan Carroll is one of my very favorite authors...but you'll always have a tough time finding where his books will be as he is really in a genre all by himself...mystery, sci-fi, horror, fantasy...none are a correct category! But one thing is for sure, he is definitely a dog lover!!! Reading The Land of Laughs is a definite must!
It's not only ME that is subjected to Ma's shenanigans...She had to have my poor big sis get ahead of her "so she could show me off "...
(Max:  Who are YOU kidding Ma...it was so you could catch your breath!)

Jeez Ma...we could have gone to PetsMart and back already!....Come on!

Ya know Ma, we probably could have done 2 laps to your 1
...FitDog Friday...ha...maybe it should be FitHuman Everyday! ha ha!

Hey Sis...wait...I think Ma might have a peanut butter treat!!
Hey Ma, you, you...know I was only jokin' right and trying to motivate you, right???
Like a good coach would or somethin' and hey, I'm free of charge for the pep talk...

So....umm...got any peanut butter treats???? You're lookin' mighty fit there Ma!! :)

Have a beautiful day no matter how long it takes at times!

  16. Thanks for stopping by my blog Max. I see a lot of my friends leave you comments. I love to read, yes I do, I am a reader dog. I help little kids learn to read. One of your favorite authors, Jonathan Carroll has made a very true statement. We dogs are the best. Those laps are tough ~ keep trucking.
I only post on Monday and I hope you come back to my blog.
