Only in Texas

Well, ever since I read about FitDog Friday and Park Day (co-hosted by the wonderful Gizmo!), it inspired Max to drag Ma along on little outdoor outings on the days after work that we don't go visit Grandpa.   This time we went to a different section of Bear Creek Park...as soon as Max spotted why I parked in a total different area of the park...THIS is what I was left to photograph!...The heck with Ma....(I see where I rank!).
See ya Ma...snooze you loose...hurry!! There's lots of little mini-humans playing and I LOVE mini's!!!
(eerrrrr....stopped dead in his tracks when he got a closer look at were WE were going!)
If Max's little paws had brakes on them, they would have screeched when he slammed on those paw brakes! No, Max...we aren't gonna play with the little kids on their scooters hanging around...sorry....

No, Ma...I'm not ssccccared...just being gentlemanly and waiting  ffooor you!

They're GIANT DEVIL DOGS WITH HORNS!!! Oh Ma, don't tell me we're a a Top Secret Genetic Altering Dog Conversion Site?!!  I PROMISE I'll get up EVERY morning to potty without making you coax me outta bed!!! Please Ma...Nooooo!!! I don't wanna be morphed into a mutant devil dog!!! I'll...I'll...I'll even give up my addiction to Peanut Butter Treats (is there a patch for that?!)...

OMD! This mutant dog must be in the beginning stages of devil horns! Oh, Ma...this is a pup's worse nightmare!!!
(Just then, a Cow that I didn't get a photo of, made a Moo sound!)

And Max decided the Mutant Devil Dogs weren't so bad after all, kinda fascinating, (from a far and SAFE distance), once I assured him that HE was not going to be genetically altered and converted into one of THEM!
Hey Ma...I kinda like these large but inferior Dog "Creatures"....can we visit them again? Oh, and ahh, yeeah, I was just pulling your (weird and deformed), human appendage about the giving up Peanut Butter Treats...you know that right?!
Ma:  Yes, Max...

Have a beautiful day full of new things!!

  1. Wow they are some big mutant devil dogs Max. Look at those horns. We'd think you'd better stay clear. Have a terrific Tuesday Max.
    Best wishes Molly

    1. Trust me Max did stay clear, but then just sat down (which isn't like him while venturing around), and was just mesmerized by them! It was cute!

  4. Oh my...we have moo creatures here and I've sniffed a few, (through a fence of course)but none of those devil dawgs ...Those I would be watching from a distance like you Max...Of course you don't have to give up peanut butter treats...no one can hold you to that

    1. Max thinks the Moo-ing kind of mutants seem a lot more interesting as they have had their pup vocals changed and no longer bark like him!

  6. I'm glad you weren't in danger of being mutated - we like you as the spunky, little, hornless guy that you are! :)

  10. I kind of like cows and they have such a great smell, but my sister is scared to death because she has been chased by them before.
