Beans and the new, strange treat

Today we have a Guest Speaker...it's none other than Chloe!!! Yea...let's hear a round of applause!!! Whoo Hoo!!! (Sorry, she just can't sign all those pawtographs but does want me to tell you she appreciates all her fans! No need to throw money...just toys and diamond collars!!)
For those who don't know...Chloe (aka Beans) is my adorable, fun-loving Grand-dog! She's probably one of the smartest pups ever (not just saying that cuz she's my Grand-dog), my daughter can tell her which toy to get and wa-la, she brings it, she's pretty easy to teach tricks to as well....not rubbing off on Max though ha! Chloe is also Max's girlfriend-pup...so watch out lady-pups...don't even think about trying to flirt with her man-pup Max!

Her tongue was out and ready for "seconds" of the treat we got as free samples at the 2013 Houston Pet Expo. (I think she kinda liked it :) ...although she would have preferred to run off with the ENTIRE bottle and did try a few times! (No, it wasn't THAT kind of bottle!...THAT was for me and her Ma!)
Come on Mom...just ONE more lick!!!!
Don't you see how cute I am!?!
(I can do the Bunk tongue thing too!)

This is my feel sorry for me, but super focused face I make when I want my way!

What was Chloe wanting more of??  Lickety Stik (Made in the USA), it looks like a roll-on deodorant but it this liquid Liver Flavor that the dog is just supposed to lick off the roller ball.  Well, it definitely got 4 paws up from Beans!!!
What was Max's opinion? Took 3 solid licks then he actually got up and moved away while shaking his head...not such a fan! ha! Never wanted the bottle even near him after that!

So very mixed review of this one!  Maybe it's me, but I'm not so sure I really "get" this product or thinking to myself when would I use it? Not really something I care to throw in my purse or whatever like little treats. What are ya'lls opinions? How do you think you would use it or would you? Guess it's just not for me really, so looks like Beans will be getting a second bottle..we'll just say Max insisted on buying it for her though so sshhh...don't tell :)

P.S.  I would be a horrible friend to everyone if I didn't tell you to go to A Tail of Two Cardis to see what Taryn reviewed yesterday...you REALLY don't want to miss that one in case you missed it for any reason!
FINE! Just Ignore me....remember ME???
Ok, FINE, Chloe....I'll let you have the limelight today...
only cuz you're so cute and all and you're my girl-pup...
Yes, Chloe...I picked up those special bones you ordered on my way home from the park....
Urrr...lady-pups!

Have a beautiful today
full of weird stuff that makes you wonder!

    1. Isn't that bizarre? Other than me not being able to touch them, bet Max would love them!

  4. Chloe is very cute. I am guessing the sticks are a way of giving a treat without actually feeding the dog? I doubt we would ever use something like that. :)

  5. What a cutie Chloe is, no wonder Max is smitten.

  6. Well, Chloe certainly seemed to love the stuff. Such cute pictures. Litchi is rather sad to be told that she is not allowed to make any advances towards Max but does understand the full on cuteness of Chloe, so will be a good loser on this one :)

  7. We think Chloe is a cutie... I mean very cute and she looks like she's smaller than us. That's small for a dog. Nice meeting her.

    Have a great day.

  8. Chloe is very cute! Is she a chihuahua mixed with a small terrier?

The licky stick does sound pretty weird. I wonder if the roller ball pinched Max's tongue?

    1. All we know is Chloe is some sort of Terrier Mix who is full of energy for sure!! No, the ball didn't get Max but you could just tell he really just wasn't sure then drank water to get the taste out I think. But Chloe sure does like it!

  9. Chloe is a real sweetheart! So adorable!
Mom had a Lickety Stick once and gave it away, she didn't "get" the concept either :)

  10. Chloe is so sweet, I love her wirey hair. That sounds like an unusual invention, am pretty sure there is nothing like it here. We do have the bacon flavoured bubbles though.

  12. Awwww, Chloe is absolutely adorable (and sounds soooo smart too)!! :-D Hehehe, Max, you'll just have to deal with her spotlight today! ;-) Hm, I got one of those sticks as a prize for some competition or another...I like it, but just as you said, when should Domeek give it to me?! I don't know!

    1. Well, let me know if you think of anything clever and I'm going to look and see what other people use it for. :)

  13. I'll have to delve further and see what the reasoning was initially to see if that will shed some light on it

  15. Rita has a Lickety Stik. I got it for her thinking it would keep her preoccupied and calm while other dogs walk by on a walk - but not so much. She likes it okay, but not enough to forgo barking at the other dogs. (Luckily we found better "high value" treats to do the job for that.

    Chloe is a total cuties!

    1. Hum, ok so that was a good idea for it - makes sense...been really trying to figure out some good uses for it! Too bad it didn't do the trick with Rita but I'm thinking she just wants to say Hi to everyone and sorta make her "grand entrance"! :)

    1. Aw, thanks Jen! She is probably one of the most entertaining pups to watch! She can have more fun than any pup I know when playing with her toys!

  17. Chloe and Max make a great couple! I would be interested in trying the Lickety Stick, but imagine that spilled in your purse?! I hear it stinks.

    1. That is exactly what I was thinking...eww! That or somehow I'd spill it all over myself!

  18. So nice to see how much you enjoy your granddog. She is super cute. We've heard of Lickity Stick but never tried it. Kelly would lick it nicely but Brooks would have tried to bite the whole stick!

  19. Beans is beautiful, I love her! Oh and I will have to remind my Charlie Boy and Roman that Beans is not a single pooch! ;) Well, to be fair, my Cocker Spaniel Roman usually isn't interested in dogs anyway, just a ball, but Charlie loves to meet and greet! Charlie Boy is Westie for thos of you who don't already know! :-)
