First, let me thank everyone for all the inspirational, heartwarming, comments you wrote about our Carly. It's still not easy going over to my sisters and not hearing Carly bark or be staring at us at the window when we get there, but your words helped a lot and I know she had a wonderful life while she was here - thank you all! It meant the world to us!
Well, on to happier things, I don't do depressed or sad good sooo.....
We got our BarkBox today and I opened up the Zukes Carrot tiny bone first and thought Max would like it especially since it was so small...nope...it bombed! BUT...the Acadia Antlers, Moose Taster....well, I have NEVER EVER EVER (ok, I'm no Taylor Swift), seen Max have such a strong reaction!!! I need stock in this product! Jeez! I am still just stunned! If a picture's worth a thousand words....and since you ALL know HOW picky Max is....

DeleteIf you don't mind some old antlers we would be happy to send you ours. Mom bought a packet of them two years back after hearing how much all the doggies loved them....we took a sniff...looked at mom with that "are you crazy...you want us us to eat a rock" look and we have given them a second thought since.

DeleteTorrey liked antlers like that, then decided she didn't anymore. Go figure. They just had the antler auction here in Jackson Hole, everyone was commenting on how the price is going up because of dog chews.

DeleteBeamer LOVED the moose antler he got back in November. We have a deer antler for him, but he's not as crazy about it. Glad you're still loving the BarkBox. Maybe Chloe will like the Zukes bone.

ReplyDeleteWe got them a while ago but Bridge didn't like hers, it made Dip's mouth bleed and Elliot chewed his for 30 seconds then lost interest. So that was money well spent, BOL.

Ha, that's usually the case with Max but he just LOVED this! Yep, I set my money on fire alot over here but Chloe, my dog buddies or the local shelter will always help eat the ones Max rejects :)

But then again, I love all elk and deer antlers...something about gnawing on such a large animal without getting trampled to death...hehehe! :-D You would probably like the ones that are put on ropes too, they are a bit smaller for traveling in cars and stuff! :-D Great review, gnaw on dude!!

ReplyDeletebailey loves zuke's carrot z-bones! she doesn't have the jaw strength to eat a bone like a "normal dog" so we have to chop it up into teeny pieces for her. she tried the antler, but if she can't handle a z-bone, there is NO WAY she can handle an antler! max doesn't seem to be having any trouble with it.
