On Friday, Max and I were honored to get this award from Sheba's Life Story, if you haven't had a chance to meet Sheba, you should really pop on over and say hello! We love Sheba's blog!
As part of the Award I am to share seven things about us that people might not know and then pass the award onto five blogs I follow.
1. Ma's greatest dream is to be able to travel! Her bucket list contains the desire to see every state in the USA before she kicks the bucket and go to Hungary, The Czech Republic, Spain, Finland, The UK, Australia, Italy, France, Spain and plenty more...that's just for starters!
2. Max likes to eat Thunder Kitty's food when she isn't looking! (MA! I can't BELIEVE you told them that!)
3. Me and Ma would love to be filthy rich and just hand people money so they could just have a blast for a week with their pups and do something really fun and exciting without worrying how much money it'd cost...and of course this includes ENDLESS peanut butter treats for all pups!!
4. Ma never ever passed Penmanship when she was in school and her handwriting is horrible...at least now since she is missing 2-1/2 knuckles on her right hand that's a good excuse now! But Ma swears it's cuz she was a Lefty and the school made her be a Righty...I think Ma just has poor Penmanship! Heck, I can write better than her!
5. When Max eats, he grabs one kibble...runs out of the room, eats it and repeats this for the first 3-4 kibbles and then scarfs it all down like a NORMAL dog!
WTD?! Did you just accuse me of not eating like a normal dog Ma??? Really all out in public and everything??! Ok, Ma...I see how it is...
6. Ma can't sleep without the tv on and ME by her side!!! Ha ha Ma...you need a Pup "teddy bear" (me) to go to sleep! ha ha, I told your secrets!!!! That'll get ya for sayin' I don't eat like a "Normal" pup!
7. Max has "selective" hearing :)....that and Ma's not a very good trainer :)
Now it's your turn, hard to just pick 5, so I'm gonna follow Sheba's lead and pick Max's 5 most recent followers :). Here are the 5 Blog Buddies we selected:
4. Ryker Rules
5. Pawsitively Pets
As you can tell...Max was all smiles since he found out about the award :) - Thank you Sheba! Max had even more reason to smile when he realized that his Mini-me was featured at Dip-Dip and The Bridge's Blog! We sure do love Max's Mini-Me and looking at Lynne's other super cute Mini-Me's - thanks Lynne!

Congrats on you award little dude...well deserved.
ReplyDeleteThanks guys! Glad your tooth is better too!
Deletecongrats on your well deserved award and we loved learning more about you. thank goodness that they didnt have penmenship when mom was in high school she never would have graduated because hers is illegible
ReplyDeleteurban hounds
Yep. Back in "the day" it was mandatory and I never passed!! My friend says my writing looks bad even if I was a doctor!!
DeleteCongratulations on your award Max and we like the fact that mum needs a pup teddy bear. We loved your Mini Me. So charming just like you. We hope your travel dreams come true one day. Have a terrific Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
If we do ever strike it rich, we'll be coming tower you!!
DeleteCongrats on your award!
ReplyDeleteMissing 2 1/2 knuckles sounds pretty ouchy!
Stupid? Klutzy me did it right before I had to drive to Missouri with Max and so I couldn't take the swelling or pain pills...it was like a balloon!
DeleteWhooohoo big congratulations Max.. we would love to be rich too, we would try to help everyone :) xx00xx
ReplyDeleteMollie and Alfie
Oh to have tons of $$ would be sooo fun!
DeleteCongrats on your award. Very well deserved. Your Mom shouldn't feel badly about having poor penmanship. They don't even teach that in many schools these days.
ReplyDeleteThanks! Yep, Ma is getting up there in age...48! Kids laugh when I tell them about having penmanship class but the owner of my company does have beautiful penmanship!! He's older than me! ;)

ReplyDeleteCongratulations!!! No worries for the penmanship-thingy, all highly intelligent people have a horrible handwriting, that's scientifically proven :o)
ReplyDeleteEasy, have I told you how much I love you?! :)
DeleteOh thank you so much for the award Max! It is slightly strange the way you eat lol... that's OK though, I'm sure it's just part of your cute personality!
ReplyDeleteMax is quirky if nothing else :)
DeleteOK...that's too funny. Your mom and my mom both have bad hand writing, the need to travel the world, the desire to be filthy rich. And I used to eat my kibble the same way. Weird.....BOL
ReplyDeleteOk, so if I strike it rich, me and your Mom are off and running...we can write sloppy checks all over the world and you guys can eat kibbles any way you want!
DeleteAwww thank you so much for passing the award on to me, and it was wonderful getting to know you a little better, Max! I'll work on my post this week ;)
ReplyDeleteYea....I'm exicted to know more about ya!
DeleteAwww, thank you so much for passing the award on to me, and it was wonderful getting to know you a little better, Max! I'll work on my post this week :)
ReplyDeleteHi Max! Thought I'd stop by and say hello since you visited ME....I have to admit you're a cute guy and probably just about my size too! My Mom's always telling people embarrassing stuff about me and once in a while I take revenge and blab about her - hey - it's only fair! Congrats on your award.... :D
ReplyDeleteKitty Hugs, Sammy
Ha, love it Sammy and thanks for coming by! We really enjoyed your blog!
DeleteCongrat's on that award MAX you and Your Mom both deserve it! We sure learned alot about you guys and really enjoyed it. we like the filthy rich dream also!
ReplyDeletestella rose
Wanna play lotto partners? :) We can all be rich and blog, travel and write sloppy checks!
DeleteCongrats on your award Max.
ReplyDeleteMum's dream is to be able to travel all over the world - she also dreams of winning the lottery first, BOL!
Dip Bridge and Elliot x
Well, we can sure have one big plane to cart us "important peeps and pups" around...although I still won't be eating caviar..yuck!
DeleteMy Dad's handwriting is terrible that's why he likes emails, That holiday list sounds great don't forget to visit me if you come to the UK. Being filthy rich sounds good so my humans don't have to worry about bills coming through the door
ReplyDeleteSheba.
Yep, they all know at work if I put a sticky note on their desk...I prefer to think of it as I'm "stand out from the crowd" :) ...yes, we'll come visit you for sure and tool around town in a fancy Rolls or something and drink Mimosas! No booze for Sheba and Max though...but we'll put fruit in their water bowls...well, the GOLD plated bowls! ha!
DeleteOMD, bailey does #5 too! she grabs a kibble and runs away with it, eats it, comes back for another, runs away with it, eats it, THEN she stays to eat "like a normal dog". what's up with that? BOL
ReplyDeletewe also have #7 in common. i can call her when she's on the other end of the house and she'll come running. but if she's right by me and i want to get her attention, i can scream her name and she acts like she doesn't hear me! i used to think she was actually hard of hearing but if she can hear me from one end of the house to the other, her hearing is just fine; it's just selective.
congrats on your award!
Really...what is up with that I wonder?! Weird isn't it? Chloe does the same thing too!!! Oh, Max likes to ignore me and pretend he can't hear me but doing this stiff neck thing and refusing to move his ears or head! But at the dog park it really IS as if he is completely deaf, I mean there is not even a stiff neck look..I swear sometimes I do think he is ADD too, not joking about that! :)
DeleteOh my! Thank you so very much for the award!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed learning more about you Max. You eat like one of our cats :), and I mean that in the nicest way!
I like to eat the cat food too! It's nice you get to sleep with your mama, wish I could but I get to hot anyhow.
We can't wait to see what you guys have to say! We love your blog! Ha, Thunder Kitty scarfs it down like I've never fed her in her life which is a little odd too for a cat...it's just a regular freak show up in here with all our crazy little quirks :) I check my deadbolt on the front door 3 times every night! But that is the only OCD thing I really do :)
Deletenow that's interesting! My Mom HATES traveling and her penmanship is superb! She always got A's in penmanship :)
ReplyDeleteSo jealous! I would love to write pretty! They all know at work when I write them a note...no need to sign it for sure!:) Wow, you hate traveling? Did you used to travel a lot or just never liked it? But ya know, I think only a handful of us even had penmanship...my coworkers looked at me like I had three eyes when I mentioned penmanship! :)
DeleteI loved learning about you and your Ma, Max! Your Ma sounds like a very nice lady, wanting to give money to strangers so they could enjoy themselves a little more.
ReplyDeleteWe will be checking off one of your bucket list items this August by going all over North America. Hopefully we can cross paths when we're in Texas ;)
I just think that would be sooo much fun to give away money so people wouldn't have to worry and could really do something crazy, fun and have that memory for life!! Gosh, I sure do hope we do get to meet!!!Just try if you can to give me a little advance notice so I can make Dad arrangements :) but I sure would love to meet ya!
DeleteCongrats on the award! I used to love to travel to somewhat exotic places, but I must be getting old - now we like to go to the same ol' places, and we like to travel by car now so Rita can come along!
ReplyDeleteOh, I would LOVE to travel...pretty much ANYWHERE! I swear I could have fun exploring anywhere at all! I like to travel by car too and take Max too...of course if I was rich, taking Max would be no problem either! :) Yea! One day...
DeleteCongratulations on your award! I guess my mom is one of the few that has had it with travel. She traveled most of her life and now hates to leave home but sometimes we take road trips together and that is ok she says :) Good luck with your goals.
ReplyDeleteSo where is the TOP place you've visited? I'm real curious to hear!! It's such a huge passion of mine!!
DeleteYou two telling tales on each other!! Ma can't sleep without you as her teddy Bawheheeee! Congrats on the award Max. Thanks for naming me, I already have it and have answered those questions but I will add your name as passing it on to me.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog
Sweet Wlliam The Scot
OK, I think we would get along because we have so much in common - my assistant's handwriting is terrible and she would love to travel and would love to have money so she could give it away - oh, and I definitely have selective hearing and love cat food.
ReplyDeleteYour pal, Pip
Well done on your award
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the award. So well deserved and I loved your list. I had a dog who would take each kibble into a different room to eat (although he did it for the entire bowl). See, it's all quite normal :)
