Brady's Landing

So where was Mini-Max on the Texas stone?? We headed out by the Houston Ship Channel to a restaurant called Brady's Landing for brunch.  We had to go through one of Houston's few tunnels...heck maybe the only tunnel that Ma knows about here, the Washburn Tunnel, once we were done eating and yep, Ma got the photos a little screwed up in sequence but figures ya expect these things from Ma by now :). Anyway, the tunnel connects Galena Park to Pasadena via driving under the Houston Ship Channel but you'll see lovely Pasadena in a minute :)

See Mini-Max in the top left?

He was a happy little Mini-Me!

Yes, Mini even knows how to play the piano but was taking a set-break at the moment :)

It is pretty though and you can sit window-side and watch the boats in the ship channel go by :)

Pretty la de da right? So are the prices!

They have THREE room area's of buffets or everything you can imagine!

Mini-Max liked the Cappuccino's too!

But the Mimosas....now Ma really enjoyed those and brother that chocolate type of dessert!

We tried to be sneaky and take a few shots of some of the buffet areas

Just some of the desserts!

Here's the view but I tried that fish-eye lens effect :)

Ma's always amazed that these little boats can haul so much! She'd love to be up at the top of it too!

What's Pasadena, Texas like you ask???? Yep, this!

At least they got a little decorative here :)

Tons and Tons of refineries and chemical plants all over Pasadena!!! Ew!
HAD to throw at least 1 pix of Max in!

More and more of these kinds of sites to view! Me and Ma are happy we don't live there, not to say all of the area is like this as I have to believe there are very nice parts of Pasadena but Ma just hasn't ever seen them but they must exist! In a previous job Ma had, she'd have to periodically visit the refineries and had left the spot where one had a bad explosion only 20 minutes after Ma left, that sorta spurred Ma on to consider another job :)

Have a wonderful weekend and know that Mini-Max wasn't the only Max that had a good meal! Max got lots of attention too that day and plenty of guilt treats too since he couldn't go to brunch with us :)

    1. You know, the food was ok but at those prices it sure could have been kept warmer though, that kinda bummed me out that it was not that hot (temperature wise). It was sorta a late Mother's Day treat :)

    1. The dessert was the best part :) lots of fresh fruits, and a big chocolate dipping vat to make your own chocolate covered strawberries or in my case pineapple :) Yum! Surely not our typical dinning out thing! :) If we go out typically it is for cheap Mexican food which is in abundance here luckily!

That looks like an exquisite brunch, and how sneaky of you to get on that piano! That tunnel looks a little scary too :) Have a great evening!

  6. Cool and we love your Mini Me Max going in your place. Peeps went to Houston once and shhh don't tell anyone but peeps worked in oil as well. She loved Texas but never realised how big it was till she got there. Have a marvellous Monday.
    Best wishes Molly

O please send me this big shrimp - it looks sooo yummy! I'm impressed that the Mini-Max can play the piano ... maybe it's Max Middleton?

  9. looks like a very tasty brunch and I like how mini max came along. Our mom and dad are brunch nuts, particularly mom she has a long list of places to try so we are regularly left at home for brunch and then get treats afterward

  10. Looks like you had a brilliant day! The restaurant! I live in the UK though, might be a bit far for me and my dogs to travel! ;) Not to mention, my 2 cats, 4 ferrets and 10 horses! :P. Visiting America is on my bucket list! ;)

    Speak soon Max!

  11. You better be careful that your mom does not replace you with mini-max...that flat Emma replaced me at Blogpaws, and that was not good!

Beautiful buffet yummies! Mini-Max seems to have enjoyed himself. Not familiar with Pasadena Texas but felt like the best part was that restaurant you visited! :D :D :D

Looks a cool place - pity it had to be mini-max and not real Max who got to enjoy it!

  17. Interesting place. Refineries aren't pretty, but they are necessary. Of course I would not want to live near one. ;)

    The buffet looks yummy. :)
