Big adventure yesterday...Ma had the whole day off!!! We grabbed my big brother and off we went...we're only just gonna tell ya about the first stop today though.. to Rosemary's Vineyard, 5501 Hwy 71 East, La Grange, TX 78945 (979) 249-2109...I'm not a wine drinker cuz Ma says no wine for pups (urr!!), but Ma loved this wine!!! Even bought a bottle that she's gonna share with my big sis!
Here's a Youtube video Ma found to show you more |
Emmett and Beatrice Schulze pouring Ma a sample |
Yum! |
Ma...I'm old enough in dog years! Come on!!! Just ONE drink?!! |
Guess I'll have to be happy to explore the OUTSIDE...humm..Moms!!!....I just wanted one little sip!!! Urr! |
Ma tried getting creative with her new camera |
Ansel Adams you are not Ma! ha! |
Ma thinks I walk cute! |
Give 'em what they want right?! |
Time to stop and smell the flowers (Ma wrote that corny sentence!) |
That breeze feels good on my strawberry blonde fur! |
I better at LEAST get a darn treat since Ma won't let me taste the wine! |
Ohh...what's this...my big brother has awaken from sleeping in the car and is getting out of the car...surely HE will give me a treat?!! |
What an adventure Max, you never told me Ma was a little ole wine drinker Dad loves that song BOL
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to your next adventure is your Br two treater going with you.
Sheba.
Funny thing is I rarely even drink but it was that kind of a day to try new things! We'll have to see if old "two treater" is available for the next outting :)
Deletehow fun, i want to take one or two of our dogs to a winery around here soon
ReplyDeleteurban hounds
Take the whole possey! Who wouldn't love that bunch! They're awesome!!!
DeleteWhat no wine Max? Tragedy. Is mum being greedy? Stick to your two treat Bro we say. Have a serene Sunday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
Max just can't seem to hold his liquor, can't have him drunk running about the place :)
DeleteEnjoy your Sunday! :)
I love the captions, Max! You're so funny!
ReplyDeleteDina
Thanks Dina! We love your blog too and think you're precious!
DeleteWhat a fun adventure. Most of our wineries in Oregon are pet friendly as well. We even have an event called 'Canines Uncorked' and it is all about bringing your dogs out to the wineries to enjoy the day!! Glad you had fun and we love your pictures of blooms!
ReplyDeleteWyatt and Stanzie
I'm really seeing more and more places that are ok if you bring your pup if they are behaved. This place didn't say it was pet friendly but when I asked if I could let Max out and walk him and showed her my bone pooper bags she laughed and said of course! They were really nice people! Great tasting wine too...not much bite, which is good for me!
Deletewhat a FUN adventure! Mom and I watched the video and it was so interesting and the countryside is gorgeous too!!!
ReplyDeleteMom has never visited Texas and really wants to one day!
It was really nice to finally just have a total day off without any responsibilities and enjoy my son and Max and nature!
DeleteWow what a beautiful place, make sure you get a lick of that wine :) only a lick mind..BOL XX00XX
ReplyDeleteMollie and Alfie

Well, I thought about it but then you know he'd be wanting to pee every 5 seconds! :)
DeleteVery pretty, and I am glad you were not drinking the wine :)
ReplyDeleteYes and Max was very diligent in making sure Ma only had 3 sips of the different kinds since she was driving :)
DeleteAww, shame, you looked like you really wanted that wine!
ReplyDeleteMax, you are very cute! I like your little walk!

Why thank you Pippa! Thanks for joining too! Can't wait to get to know you more! I like your blog too!
