Smiles and a great daughter

Ever have one of those weeks? Just had one, exhausting...get up at 3am, leave by 4am, drive 4 hours, stand on your feet all day at a convention, get lost trying to find the hotel, next day - stand again all day on cement convention center floors (back and feet not happy anymore with the cement floors), drive back perhaps a wee bit too fast...humm...only 3 hours and 15 minutes home, drive straight to the hospital to see my good buddy, sad driving home but then you open up your door (cuz ya have an AMAZING daughter who KNEW you'd want to see your baby the second you got home so she stopped what she was doing to be sure Max would be home in time for me)(she also babysat and spoiled him I have no doubt!), even sent me texts with pix of Max and Chloe (my beautiful Grand-dog) while I was away-what a great daughter I have!...then you walk in the door and BAMMM...that precious little face and happy puppy dance and all is ok in the world for the moment!! I wonder WHO REALLY got the good end of the stick when I adopted Max?! Pretty positive it was me!!! I feel asleep petting that special little guy-how lucky am I?!!!

  1. You're also pretty lucky to have such a great daughter. And I also wonder who got the better end of the stick when I adopted Beamer. Well, except for when he eats my stuff :)

    1. Yep, got an amazing, beautiful daughter who is always there for me! I know I for sure got the better end of the stick with Max and lucky for me he doesn't eat my stuff, just lays on it :)

  6. What a wonderful daughter! There is nothing better in the world that the doggie dance greeting when you get home. It's the best medicine in the world.

    1. Isn't that the truth!!! Nothing can put a smile on your face like seeing that tail whirling like a helicopter and the excited puppy dance!!! Yes, my little girl is once special daughter too...I know it was REALLY inconvenient for her to bring Max to my house at that particular time so that he'd be here to greet me, but she's awesome and did it for me anyway :)
