Liebster and Reality Award

WARNING...Longest post I've ever done...get your drink ready....

My virtual buddy, Kat of Us on Cloud 9  nominated us for the Liebster Award a few days ago and the Reality Award at the same time! Thanks so much Kat! It's Max's first award! 

I'm going to follow Kat’s idea and answer both sets of questions in in one post. Here we go….I’m cheating and copying and pasting this part from Kat…after all, I barely know what I am doing still in the blogosphere! J

I'll start off with the Liebster Award. The rules are as follows: 

-Answer the 11 questions asked

-Leave a link back to the blogger that nominated you

So here are the questions Kat at Us on Cloud 9 has come up with for her nominations:

1.     If you had to eat just one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be? Guess I’d go with pizza…that’s sort of a tough one. I do enjoy my food J, would have picked a Thai Salad with Chicken as a second choice because I had that for lunch today at Houston’s and it was really good but guess I am doomed to eat pizza now for life! J

2.     What was your first job? Red Top Burgers, lied about my age – back in the day if you had a social security number, that was good enough. Have to say it was not too bad of a gig but then I got all “uptown” and got on at Weiner’s (clothing store) in the same parking lot as Red Top Burgers.

3.     iPhone, BlackBerry, or Android? Hellloooo…iPhone!!! Yes, I am tethered to it and use it to it’s fullest capacity in every sense!! My son turned me into an “i junkie” when he gave me his old shuffle (the original one that was a stick…ok, showing my age!) and I believe I’ve had or have them all but the newest iphone which I’ll be getting when my contract is up for renewal and the newest ipad.

4.     If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why? That soooo easy for me…I want to be able to fly!! I would travel the world endlessly!!! That’s been a real dream of mine and so far, I’ve just been to Mexico 3 times and lots of states in the USA, but only recently and I love it!!!

5.     If you could travel back to any period in time, what time period would you choose and why?1920’s so I could meet and get to know my grandparents before they had my parents and see what their lives were like before and after and how they raised my parents. I think that would be pretty interesting and just that time period in itself would be interesting to live through. Although I would have really loved to have been at Woodstock too!

6.     What's something that you live/swear by? Can be a saying or product. Live by would be Karma I guess and saying is be the change you wish to see in the world.

7.     Who is/are your celebrity crush(es)?  George Clooney, Oliver Martinez, Channing Tatum

8.     What should you be doing right now instead of this questionnaire? Sleeping – have to go to work in a few hours!

9.     What's something you wish you had the patience to master? Sewing!

10.  What's your most embarrassing moment? Not releasing the bowling ball on time, going over the painted red line and gliding down the bowling aisle at my Nephew’s birthday party not all that many years ago but the family got a good chuckle out of it. I embarrass myself so routinely that it’s hard to say!

11.  What's the number one thing on your bucket list? Visiting every state in the USA

10.  What’s been your biggest accomplishment so far in life?

11.  Where do you currently live and where do you wish you could live (you can bring your whole family with ya)?

Since I was nominated for the Reality Award from a dog blogger, I'll answer these questions on Max's behalf.

3) Answer 5 simple questions:

a) If you could change one thing, what would you change? 

I would love Ma to quit her job and stay home with me to devote every waking second to fawning all over me and taking me on more road trips. I’d also like me own credit card! 

b) If you could repeat any age, what would it be? Any year?

The age I am now! I am perfect right now, no puppy trouble for me but I’m still plenty young enough to not have any aches and pains and the lady pups find me VERY attractive if I do say so myself!

c) What is one thing that really scares you?

Well, this list is a pretty big one…after all I am sorta a small guy but I’ve got things under control by hiring my bodyguard Thunder Kitty so the backyard isn’t quite so terrifying but meeting human men is always little scary at first until Ma lets me know they are safe. Although I once found one man irresistible…I mean I’m pretty darn cautious about meeting anyone for the first time but once I went to the Bark Park and there was this ENORMOUS, and I do mean TALL and body-builder type looking black man and when I saw him sit down on the bench I did something quite unexpected for me and leaped onto his unsuspecting lap!!! I don’t ever do that with anyone…male or female! But, I knew this man would pet me and love on me through my super pup powers and I was right…he might have been the biggest human I ever saw, but he sure was one nice man! He even talked baby pup talk to me and giggled when it was time to go and he left with a GIANT pup and a pup smaller than me! I hope he is at the Bark Park again next time we go, this man loves me and I would hate to deny him the chance to love on me again! Older, very pale, white ladies in hats scare me though…this one in particular…I know she just wants to touch me, but that crazy hat really scares me…what if it falls on me!!! Now kids 6 years and younger…they are cool…not scared of them at all!

d) What is one dream you have not completed, and do you think you’ll be able to accomplish it? 

Ma would REALLY like it if I would hurry up and learn the “come” command but I sorta like to keep my head still with my ears back and pretend I don’t hear her. Once in a while if I haven’t had a treat, I’ll throw her a bone and listen or if I am really craving a good petting but otherwise…just fun to watch Ma try to see if anything she does will EVER work. Ha!

e) If you could be someone else for one day, who would it be?

I’m happy being me but would like to have Paris Hilton’s credit card but keep the same Ma…I could get lots of cool outfits and travel the world with Ma!
