Beans and the new, strange treat

Today we have a Guest Speaker...it's none other than Chloe!!! Yea...let's hear a round of applause!!! Whoo Hoo!!! (Sorry, she just can't sign all those pawtographs but does want me to tell you she appreciates all her fans! No need to throw money...just toys and diamond collars!!)

For those who don't know...Chloe (aka Beans) is my adorable, fun-loving Grand-dog! She's probably one of the smartest pups ever (not just saying that cuz she's my Grand-dog), my daughter can tell her which toy to get and wa-la, she brings it, she's pretty easy to teach tricks to as well....not rubbing off on Max though ha! Chloe is also Max's girlfriend-pup...so watch out lady-pups...don't even think about trying to flirt with her man-pup Max! 

Her tongue was out and ready for "seconds" of the treat we got as free samples at the 2013 Houston Pet Expo. (I think she kinda liked it :) ...although she would have preferred to run off with the ENTIRE bottle and did try a few times! (No, it wasn't THAT kind of bottle!...THAT was for me and her Ma!)

What was Chloe wanting more of??  Lickety Stik (Made in the USA), it looks like a roll-on deodorant but it this liquid Liver Flavor that the dog is just supposed to lick off the roller ball.  Well, it definitely got 4 paws up from Beans!!!

What was Max's opinion? Took 3 solid licks then he actually got up and moved away while shaking his head...not such a fan! ha! Never wanted the bottle even near him after that!

So very mixed review of this one!  Maybe it's me, but I'm not so sure I really "get" this product or thinking to myself when would I use it? Not really something I care to throw in my purse or whatever like little treats. What are ya'lls opinions? How do you think you would use it or would you? Guess it's just not for me really, so looks like Beans will be getting a second bottle..we'll just say Max insisted on buying it for her though so sshhh...don't tell :) 

P.S.  I would be a horrible friend to everyone if I didn't tell you to go to A Tail of Two Cardis to see what Taryn reviewed yesterday...you REALLY don't want to miss that one in case you missed it for any reason!

Eye Licker

I know this is an odd subject, but every time Max and my beautiful Grand-Dog, Chloe (aka Beans) get together Max wants to lick Chloe's eyes. I googled this and found it could signify an eye infection for Chloe, just a weird taste thing, all sorts of explanations as to why, but wasn't any definitive answers that I could find and Max only does this with Chloe! Lucky for Max, Chloe doesn't seem to care particularly as long as you don't mess with her toys! Max is plenty entertained enough to just watch Chloe play - she's hilarious and if I had 1/16 of her energy...well, my house would sparkle! Does anyone have a pup that does this? Any ideas? Just kind of curious as Chloe does seem to be fine and like I said, Max only does that with her? What are some of your weird pup interactions?

After watching the Boston Celtics win in double over-time with Dad last night, I headed home to do some laundry but then my daughter called saving me from the dreaded laundry, inviting me over to watch Shameless and eat dinner! Have to say dinner vs. laundry? Hello...dinner won!! Yummy - even had dessert! Wow, it was like dinning in a first class restaurant but with pups! Have I told you lately how much my daughter rocks?!

I'll go in first and look all pitiful...

Meet My Grand-Dog Chloe aka Beans

While I don't have any Grand-babies...I DO have a wonderful Grand-dog, Chloe aka Beans via my super, wonderful, amazing and beautiful daughter (can ya tell I'm kinda proud of and love my daughter too??). I have never seen a dog quite like little Chloe! She jumps right into my daughter's arms from the ground straight up and if I had Beans' energy level my house would be sparkling clean!! Chloe is happy to drag out EVERY single toy she has  (and she's got a ton!!!) and play with or without you but she IS going to play!!! My daughter feels about her like I do about Max so you know she is equally as spoiled and loved!!! They love getting together!!
