Did Ma Really Just Do That? She's SOOOO Embarrasing!

Well, by now you know that I have no shame and will do about anything....that said, I saw these beautiful flowers in someones front yard while I was with Max and my son and decided to snap away...Max and my son were equally embarrassed...well, my son is used to me so it didn't phase him much, but Max was a bit embarrassed....he'll learn to get over it though with me as his Ma :)  - I thought they were way to pretty not to be shared!! That's what they are there for right?!?!

Daisy!!! Yea...Ann, that's the only one I know...anyone else wanna help Ann tell me what they are?

Gosh Ma, really?! You are going to have to at LEAST get me a fake mustache if you are going to behave like this!! What if somepup I know saw us?! Ma!!! I really need to give Molly The Wally. The Little Dog With A Blog a ring and see if she can help me with some disguises when I'm out with you Ma! Molly???? HELLLLLLP!

Surely all of you out in the blogosphere know Molly, but if for any reason you don't...you HAVE to go pay her a visit and get your laugh fix!

George Bush Hike and Bike Trails

Continuing on the weekend before lasts journey.....Friday-Sunday I'm taking care of Dad so my sis can get the heck outta dodge and go enjoy a river house with all of her family.

This is over at the George Bush Hike and Bike Trails which to be honest, I never knew even existed until recently and it's pretty nice!

By the time I got back over the hill I was about ready to get in water like this guy...just not this water :)

Glad I decided to leave Max at home because it was really too hot for me and I over did it and was wiped out from the heat!

Keepin' ya busy today Ann! All I know is I like the purple color :)...oh, and that movie "The Color Purple" too :)

Not too sure how far the trails go because it was way too hot to check out much but looks like a winter exploration project :)

It felt a whole lot cooler here by the water and there were lots of birds chirping away!

Gosh, I really don't know much...no idea what the flowers are nor the bird!

Meanwhile, back at the hacienda....there sits Stanley (my, "not my cat", cat that has adopted us I guess at least sometimes and who I nicknamed as Stanley now), awaiting his dinner while lounging in HIS chair.

Max was busy asking Thunder Kitty if he could have this dance once we got home :) . He was inside and dying to go outside when I got home and didn't have to potty or anything...think he just wanted to see his Thunder Kitty :)

What a reaction from Max!

First, let me thank everyone for all the inspirational, heartwarming, comments you wrote about our Carly. It's still not easy going over to my sisters and not hearing Carly bark or be staring at us at the window when we get there, but your words helped a lot and I know she had a wonderful life while she was here - thank you all!  It meant the world to us!

Well, on to happier things, I don't do depressed or sad good sooo.....

We got our BarkBox today and I opened up the Zukes Carrot tiny bone first and thought Max would like it especially since it was so small...nope...it bombed! BUT...the Acadia Antlers, Moose Taster....well, I have NEVER EVER EVER (ok, I'm no Taylor Swift), seen Max have such a strong reaction!!! I need stock in this product! Jeez! I am still just stunned! If a picture's worth a thousand words....and since you ALL know HOW picky Max is....

Christmas in May

My son and I happened to be out without Max this weekend at one point and were driving through the rich area over here called River Oaks....

Ok, this isn't bad either...I couldn't fit the left side of the house in the photo even...you get the idea though of the la de da ness of the "hood" though right?

Then there is THIS house! See the Christmas lights still up over top of their door at at the part in front of their sidewalk? Oh, we have bushes shaped like dancing bears too!

Oh and monkey bushes and wind tube kites as front door decorations! Bet their neighbors aren't loving them! But we sure did!

A closer view still....I was cracking up laughing because I once got an ugly-gram from my Homeowners Association for my mailbox not being 100% straight and was yappin' to my neighbor about it who was complaining that she got a nasty-gram from them on January 10th about removing her Christmas lights...ok, you should see MY neighborhood...is surely is not even CLOSE to these houses...maybe their bathrooms sized! My Homeowners nasty-gram writers would have a field day with them! Ha!

Then we got into the po' folks section..yeah, in my dreams! But we felt it was just missing something???

Meanwhile, back in reality..at the non-River Oaks area...Max has discovered the tree stump in our yard is VERY interesting!

WTD?!! That is one UGLY intruder...Max,...Max....ok, that will be all we see of Max for a while! But what in the WORLD is this thing?! Max's Human Servant is quite puzzled and grossed out!

No worries Human Servant - a swift swat with my hidden switchblade shoes and the intruder is lost in the jungle...ha ha the Official Command Center is all MINE now! Hey, don't EVEN think about it Servant person of Max's - MY jungle...MY Official Command Center!! Back off!

Don't worry about him, that's Red...my part-time assistant in Jungle Patrol!

It takes an army to be Max's bodyguard you know...I'm thinking of starting a Union though, more health benefits and shorter hours!
